Secure payments

Clara Alonso uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption across the entire store. SSL scrambles sensitive information, including passwords and card numbers, while it travels between your browser and our checkout. Every form on our site is protected this way, so your personal information stays private.

You can confirm the connection is secure by looking for the padlock icon in your browser's address bar and checking that the address begins with "https://".

PCI compliance

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, which is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is the security standard that applies to any organisation handling cardholder data, set by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council to reduce card fraud.

Your card details

We never see or store your full card number. Once your purchase is complete, we can see your billing address, delivery address, order details and the last four digits of your card. Nothing more.

We do not rent, sell or share your personal information with third parties. Our Privacy Policy explains in full what we collect and how it is used.

When you are charged

Your card is authorised at the moment you place your order and charged when the order is confirmed. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we cancel that line and refund it to the original payment method.
